Homes that tell stories

At Studio Ogee we are passionate about design. We create interesting, functional and inspiring homes for our Clients. From concept development through to the final styling making it all look perfect, we work with anything from a single room to a complete house renovation. We have years of experience working effectively with builders, architects and suppliers to achieve this.

We believe that all places tell stories. In our projects we try to capture the essence of the building, the room and the people who inhabit it and tell their stories through carefully considered furniture, art and objects, materials and textiles. Set against clean lines and complimentary colour palettes, we believe in long-lasting quality and value, with a sense of urban cool and a touch of humour.

Based in Clapham, most of our projects are in South-West London, but we happily travel further afield or abroad.

Debbie Hawkes has a background in marketing with a life long passion for design, fashion, art and culture.  She has completed several refurbishment projects and has evolved a style that brings together cool, eclectic and sophisticated interiors that are clean to the eye. She enjoys adding playful touches that echo the Client’s personality and lifestyle and are points of curiosity and conversation. With a talent for sourcing the unusual and unobtainable, Debbie has curated a personal collection of curios and art and specialises in sourcing objects for Clients from her extensive “black book”. She is currently working towards an Interior Design Certificate from KLC School of Design in London, and shares her space with husband Nick, three children and Boris the Boston Terrier.

Nicoline Sandwith also has a background in marketing, but has for the last ten years focused on interiors, completed a BA and MA in Photography and History of Art, and is also working towards her Interior Design Certificate from KLC School of Design in London. Originally from Norway, Nicoline has an appreciation for the honesty, simplicity and quality that captures the Scandinavian sensibility, but has over the years also developed a personal fondness for mid-century Italian antiques and lighting, modernist art and textiles.  She is forever experimenting, changing and updating her own house that she shares with husband Marcus, three children, Panda the cat and Jessie the Labrador.
